Once there was a shoemaker. ( ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਾਲ਼ਾ ਸੀ) He became so poor that he had nothing left to run his family but only enough leather for just one pair of shoes. (ਉਹ ਇੰਨਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਘਰ ਦਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਾਰਾ ਚਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕੁੱਝ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਦੇ ਜੋੜੇ ਲਈ ਚਮੜਾ ਬਚਿਆ ਸੀ) so, in the evening, he cut out the leather with  great caਖre to make the shoes. (ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ਼ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਚਮੜਾ ਕੱਟਿਆ ) But he was so disappointed that he left his work on the table to finish in the morning. (ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇੰਨਾ ਨਿਰਾਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਖਤਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਮੇਜ਼ ਉੱਪਰ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ)  He was almost in tears.  ( ਉਹ ਲੱਗਭਗ ਰੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ) Before he fell asleep, he prayed to God and asked to help him. ( ਉਸਨੇ ਸੌਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ, ਰੱਬ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ) 
                           In the morning, he found a wonderful pair of shoes on his table. ( ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਹੈਰਾਨੀਜਨਕ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਦਾ ਜੋੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੇਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਲੱਭਿਆ) He was surprised. (ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸੀ) He took the shoes in his hands and looked at them closely. (ਉਹ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨੇੜੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੇਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ) They were so neatly made that there was not even one bad stitch on them.                     Soon after, a customer came into the shop. ( ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਬਾਅਦ, ਇੱਕ ਗਾਹਕ ਦੁਕਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਇਆ) He liked the shoes and paid more than the usual price. (ਉਸਨੇ ਜੁੱਤੀ ਪਸੰਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਕੀਮਤ ਨਾਲ਼ੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ) Now the shoemaker was very happy as he had enough money to buy leather for two pairs of shoes. (ਹੁਣ, ਮੋਚੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ਼ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਜੋੜਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਚਮੜਾ ਖ਼ਰੀਦਣ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਰੁਪਏ ਸਨ) 
            That night, he cut out the leather and the next morning, he found two pairs of beautifulbeautifully finished shoes. (ਉਸ ਰਾਤ, ਉਸਨੇ ਚਮੜਾ ਕੱਟਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਸਵੇਰ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਦੋ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਜੋੜੇ ਲੱਭੇ) This continued for many nights. (ਇਹ ਕਈ ਰਾਤਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਿਹਾ) 
             Any leather that he cut out in the evening, was beautifully finished by the morning. (ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵੀ ਚਮੜਾ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟਦਾ, ਉਹ ਸਵੇਰ ਨੂੰ ਬੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ਼ ਪੂਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ) Soon, the shoemaker became rich. (ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ, ਮੋਚੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਬਣ ਗਿਆ) 
              One evening, the man said to his wife, "Let's stay up tonight to see who is helping us." ( ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਨੂੰ, ਆਦਮੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, " ਆਓ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਠਕੇ ਦੇਖੀਏ ਕਿ ਕੌਣ ਸਾਡੀੇ ਮੱਦਦ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ) The woman liked the idea. ( ਔਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪਸੰਦ ਆਇਆ) She lighted a candle. ( ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੋਮਬੱਤੀ ਜਗਾਈ) The room was lit by the candle flame. ( ਕਮਰਾ ਮੋਮਬੱਤੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਟ ਨਾਲ਼ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ) Then they hid themselves in a corner of the room, behind the curtain. (ਤਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਕਮਰੇ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਖੂੰਜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੁਪਾ ਲਿਆ) 
                 At midnight, two little elves came dancing into the room. (ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ, ਦੋ ਛੋਟੇ ਐਲਵੀਜ ਡਾਂਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ) Both were wearing old and torn clothes. (ਦੋਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ) They sat down at the shoemaker 's table. (ਉਹ ਮੋਚੀ ਦੇ ਮੇਜ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਗਏ) They began to stitch, sew and hammer so skillfully that the shoemaker was surprised. (ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੰਨੇ ਹੁਨਰ ਨਾਲ਼ ਹਥੌੜਾ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ, ਟਾਂਕੇ ਲਾਉਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਲਾਈ ਕਰਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਿ ਮੋਚੀ ਵੀ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਸੀ) The elves finished the work and ran away. (ਐਲਵੀਜ ਨੇ ਕੰਮ ਖਤਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ) 
                    The woman said, " Those little men have made us rich. (ਔਰਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, " ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਅਮੀਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਹੈ) we should show our gratitude to them for their selfless service. ( ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਸੁਆਰਥ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ) I will make little shirts, coats, vests, trousers and a pair of socks for them. "( ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਛੋਟੀਆਂ ਕਮੀਜ਼ਾਂ, ਕੋਟ, ਬਨੈਣਾਂ, ਪਜਾਮੇ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਜੁਰਾਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਜੋੜਾ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗੀ") " Ok, then I will make two little pairs of shoes for them. " said the shoemaker. ( "ਠੀਕ ਹੈ, ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੋ ਛੋਟੇ ਜੋੜੇ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਣਾਵਾਂਗਾ " ਮੋਚੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ।) 

                       When everything was ready, they laid their presents on the table and hid themselves. ( ਜਦੋਂ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤਿਆਰ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਮੇਜ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਲੁਕਾ ਲਿਆ)  At midnight, the elves came in. (ਅੱਧੀ ਰਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਐਲਵੀਜ ਆ ਗਏ) They were delighted to find the gifts. ( ਉਹ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਦੇਖਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ ਹੋਏ) Both the elves dressed themselves in the new clothes. ( ਦੋਨੋਂ ਐਲਵੀਜ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ) Then, they danced and sang happily-( ਤਦ, ਉਹ ਖ਼ੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ਼ ਡਾਂਸ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਗਾਉਣ ਲੱਗੇ -)  
' Now we are so fine to see, 
Graceful, cheerful and thankful are we. '

The important thing to remember is that Proper nouns name specific things and they begin with a capital letter. (ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਗੱਲ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਇਹ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਨਾਂਵ ਕਿਸੇ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਵੱਡੇ ਅੱਖਰ ਨਾਲ਼ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ)
